Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
Parker is an unwilling arrival via flux in and would see this as one of two things: an adventure our of Hardison's DVD collection or her worst nightmares. She would somehow find her place with the mercs as a freelancer but knowing she basically has to go straight is one of her nightmares, one she has to live in real time. But dumping her into a world like that can only make for some interesting CR too. Add in the idea of the board and cue her not taking it well (at least I think).
How do you plan to expand their CR?
We hope to see players attempt to branch out of their (and their character's) comfort zones, and try to encourage cultivation of as much CR as possible. We feel that this responsibility is 50% on the new player, and 50% on current players; with that in mind:
Is your character a social butterfly? Do you have plots that would help expand their social circle? If not, how do you plan to work to gain CR with new people?
Parker's been getting better with the social skills but still has work on that end. So hooking up with the mercs as a freelance Robin Hood for hire can only help since its what she knows best.
What will your character do for work?
Freelancing with the mercs as a Robin Hood style thief, otherwise TBD but she could set up a small security outfit if there is interest.
Inventory:
Parker was on a job at the time so she only has a backpack of clothes/personal items/some jewelry along with a small army's worth of her rigs and other tools of her trade as a thief.

Parker's been here 3 days and was slowly going out of her mind with boredom.
Sure the merc group had happily accepted her into their folds as a freelance thief but she was also living her nightmare.
Having to go legit and basically live like a sane non thief.
So between playing Robin Hood off world she had taken two jobs: rock climbing instructor since someone had seen her rigs and waitress. And let's be real: Parker is still not the best with the social skills but she's trying? She was also miserable without the 4 people who understood her best: Nate, Sophie, Elliot and Hardison. But at the same time she was trying: granted she decided on a rental mostly to avoid the cramped yurts (to her it felt that way) and she had gotten a semi legit job outside of stealing. So maybe she was a work in progress and that tree landing was just another part of the journey she's on? Perhaps but right now Parker's miserable and wishing the handful that understood her were here. But at the same time she had options from off world jobs when word came her way to maybe getting a small security business off the ground. Someone had suggested it given her skill set and a way to make her life more suited to New Dodge.
"Its only 6 months, then you stay or find a way to bring the team here to name two options." she reminded herself before heading into the saloon for her shift. "That and wish for Hardison to avoid all the nosy nellies thinking you need a date!" having gotten wind of the loveboard via several saloon regulars. But out comes the fake smile she has down to an art via her alias of Alice White and on goes the apron, it was another day in her short term life.
